This suite was so much fun to create. MK was such a sweet bride with a huge heart, and I adored working with her to bring this vision to life. We packed so many personal details into a minimal design for their invitations!
I loved working with MK to design this meaningful invitation suite. Combining details from their Irish decent, Mary Kate's Italian heritage, and a military background was the goal. I designed a celtic inspired monogram, flourishing with white lilies (the National flower of Italy). Our color palette was mulberry and navy with bright white paper, reflecting a subtle and elegant use of red-white-and-blue. A celtic wax stamp sealed together a vellum jacket wrapped with luxurious velvet blue ribbon, and AlliCat Calligraphy added the perfect finishing touch with white ink calligraphy addressing.
It was a beautiful fall day for two beautiful people! The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve is such a grand venue, and their navy velvet bridal party fit the bill. Their florals were stunning with shades of burgundy, blush, navy, and red. Everything tied together seamlessly. Congratulations, MK + Pat!
