Julia + Patrick's Overbrook Golf Club wedding was just to die for. As a creative, one of the best feelings in the world is when your clients put their full faith and trust in you – and that's exactly what happened with these two. Julia knew her color palette and that she wanted everything to feel as grand as their venue. Beyond that, she said a resounding "yes!" to all of my ideas, and what came out of it is one of our favorite suites to date and our biggest collaboration with AlliCat Calligraphy.
I knew when we got started that this suite would be something special. We started off with their save the dates, which featured their favorite engagement photo, spot calligraphy, letterpress, handmade paper, and gold leaf edges. These turned out so beautifully, and I couldn't wait to get started on the invitation designs! Who says you can't have a classy photo save the date?
Delicate floral illustration, an epic venue landscape painting, tassels, and more – this suite truly had it all. We pulled out all the stops when it came to sourcing the most luxurious materials. Extra thick, fluffy handmade paper from Fringe & Rose was printed with two-color gold and deep green letterpress. We worked with White Dragon Paper for custom handmade paper envelope liners with the prettiest deckled edges, which also got the gold letterpress treatment. Alli took personalization to a new level with her stunning spot calligraphy and calligraphed envelopes (gold on deep green is going in the forever-favorites book).
In case the envelopes weren't stellar enough, we curated a vintage postage set that perfectly fit the theme. Hand-painted gold leaf edges, two venue illustrations, silk ribbon from Anastasia Marie, a custom wax stamp from Artisaire, and a green tassel pull were just icing on the cake. The suite was made whole with a foil debossed folder printed with their venue painting and custom monogram.
Moving into their day-of pieces, Julia wanted to make sure everything was cohesive. A hand-calligraphed welcome sign from Alli, calligraphy escort cards on deep green handmade paper from Indian Cotton Paper Co. with meal-marker wax seals, table numbers that gave the venue painting another chance to shine, and a keepsake card box with their monogram – what a beautiful day! We even met with the bride the following day to pick up her bouquet, and turned it into a beautiful work of art by pressing the flowers and surrounding a copy of their invitation within a gold frame.
Every detail of Julia + Patrick's wedding was perfectly curated, from her vintage Gucci shoes to the cutest reception dress you've ever seen – and their wedding paper was no exception. Alli and I adored working so closely with Julia to develop this vision and bring it to life.

From the couple:
"Amy is incredible to work with! I can't say enough about how talented she is. We reached out to work with her on our Save the Dates, Invitations, and day of stationary for our wedding in October 2022. Throughout the entire process, Amy was collaborative and extremely responsive. She took the vision that we had for our wedding day, brought it to life and then some, and continued the themes throughout our day of paper. Our guests were absolutely raving about how beautiful our Save the Dates and invitation suites were and even months later we still have people asking us about them. Again, I can't say enough about how wonderful Amy and her team of talented artists are, so I'll let the pictures of their work speak for themselves. They are simply the best!"
